Pixie's Picks Week 10

I figured since no one really reads this post; I'd wait until the afternoon games were done but Val asked; so here they are.


Atlanta Falcons over Cleveland Browns: Not sure what the heck happened here. Browns won it 17 to 13. Got this one WRONG!

Philly Eagles over Washington Redskins: Guess McNabb was on fire today! Eagles win iit 27 to 3. Got this one RIGHT!

San Diego Chargers over Cincinnati Bengals: Watching the dueling helmets on NFL.com; the 2nd half of this game had to have been a good one. For a minute there I wasn't sure the Chargers would pull it off. (Hoping they wouldn't actually) But they did; beating the Bengals 49 to 41. Got this one RIGHT!

Detriot Lions over San Francisco 49ers: See I told you! If I pick against them; they win. *sigh* 49ers win it 19 to 13. Got this one WRONG!

Baltimore Ravens over the Tennessee Titans: Wow, the Raven fans had to have been bitting their nails on this one. It was a last minute win for the Ravens; beating the Titans 27 to 26. Got this one RIGHT!

Indy Colts over the Buffalo Bills: *whew* This was not a pretty game. I can't believe they are still undefeated with the lousy way they are playing. However, they ARE undefeated after beating the Bills 17 to 16. Manning & his crew need to start executing their plays a bit better or they're gonna find themselves watching the big game at home like last year. Got this one RIGHT!

Jacksonville Jags over the Houston Texans: HOT DAMN! They won another one! WOOHOO! Texans won this one 13 to 10. Got this one WRONG but I don't care!

Kansas City Chefs over Miami Dolphins: You won't believe me; but my gut said to pick the Dolphins. Figured after that win over Da Bears last week they'd be flying high enough to maybe pull of another win but my mind said NO WAY! Well WAY! The Dolphins beat the Chefs 13 to 10. YOU GO DOLPHINS! Got this one WRONG & I don't care either!

Green Bay Packers over Minnesota Vikings: Wasn't sure about this one as honestly you all know I think Brett should have retired but I figured; what the heck. Packers actually won 23 to 17. Got this one RIGHT!

New England Patriots over the New York Jets: Well what do you know, the mighty Patriots fell to the New York Jets. WOOHOO! 17 to 14 was the final score. Got this one WRONG!

Denver Broncos over the Oakland Raiders ~ So far this game SUCKS! OMGOSH Plummer so needs to find his tush on the bench & Cutler needs to be named QB! I lost count on how many interceptions Plummer threw today & seriously folks; if it wasn't for that AWESOME Denver Defense; we would NOT have won this game. Boys, Mamma's tellin ya; TINKLE OR GET OFF THE POTTY! My nerves can't take much more of this & we have the Chargers next week. Instead of stress food; hubby's gonna have to stock the fridge with booze! (dulls the pain ya know) Anyhow; somehow MY BOYS pulled off a 17/13 win over the Raiders. Got this one RIGHT!

Dallas Cowgirls over the Arizona Cardinals ~ See I'm learning Lisa; however Hubby says the Cards could win it. Lisa, you get to tell hubby I TOLD YOU SO! Cowgirls won this one 27 to 10. Got this one RIGHT too!

New Orlean Saints over Pittsburgh Steelers ~ However the Steelers are ahead at this point. Val you must be happy! Bet the Saints are saying "Woulda, coulda, shoulda!" And they are right; they had this game & I guess one to many errors nipped them in the tush. Val's gotta be celebrating tonight! Steelers have win #3 under their belts by beating the Saints 38 to 31. Got this one WRONG!

Seattle Seahawks over the St Louis Rams ~ Tim I got tired of pulling for them; sorry. WOWY OH WOW! What a nailbitter this one was. For a min there I thought I had this game wrong too. Nope! Seahawks pull a win 24 to 22. Got this one RIGHT!

New York Giants over Chicago Bears ~ This should be a great game! Great game, yes. Did the Giants win??? NO! Eli's biggest problem during this game was Eli. Still the Giants are doing well this season. I'd love to see the 2 brothers at the Super Bowl; I just highly doubt that would happen. Da Bears beat the Giants 38 to 20. Got this one WRONG!

Carolina Panthers over the Tampa Bay Bucs By the end of the 2nd qtr I was kinda worried. But my headache made it impossible to finish watching the game. It would appear that the Panters got it together as they beat the Bucs 24 to 10. Got this one RIGHT!

If you've noticed I'm 8 of 14 so far today. There are 2 more games so here's hoping I get the next two wins. :-)

So I ended the week 9/16. Not as good as I wanted but not too bad.
